my pet peeve speech topic is Messing up the room
You will create and organize a speech based on existing knowledge (no academic research required!). The goal of the assignment is to craft and present an organized message without calling attention to stylistic weaknesses (such as awkward pauses or nervous fidgeting). The speech is 3-4 minutes and will be presented to your classmates during an inperson class meeting. This will be recorded for you to analyze for your self-analysis paper. You will submit an outline online.
Skill development: You will be asked to effectively deliver content within the time frame, not read from a notecard, and open with a ‘wow’ attention getter and matching final appeal.
You may have ONE, one-sided notecard, that will be collected and factored into the grade.
Your content will address each of the following in the main body points:
a description of the pet peeve
your reaction when this pet peeve happens
a solution to the pet peeve
