This number of pages refers to the body of the report and do not include title page, table of contents, list of tables, list of figures, abstract, acknowledgment, or references.

For the term project, you are required to write a report of 15 to 20 pages on a topic
related to transportation (preferably in traffic engineering). This number of pages refers
to the body of the report and do not include title page, table of contents, list of tables, list
of figures, abstract, acknowledgment, or references.
The idea is to find a topic your group is interested in related to transportation. Please
submit an abstract of your topic for review at the latest by the end of the fourth week of
the semester. I will provide a link via email for topic options for your group in case that
the group have not a clear idea of one. Each group will have a different topic (need
approval from professor) and the topics will be assigned on first come first serve basis.
The project could be (not limited to) a thorough literature review (which should include
at least one case study), field study, data analysis, or software application of the topic
selected. Please include a section at the end of the report where your group provides
comments about potential ways of how you could improve/address previous
work/information related to your topic.
The number of members per group is three. If by the end of the second week of classes
you do not have a group or need a classmate to complete your group, please let me
know and I can check with other students in the course.
