ANNOTATED BIBS ARE USED IN GRAD SCHOOL AND RESEARCH PROJECTS.
Take a deep breath. This is a big project, but the steps are clear. Take it slowly. How do you eat a gallon of Ben and Jerry’s? One bite at a time.
1. For this assignment, you’ll use four sources about a specific career: 1) O*net (at onetonline (Links to an external site.) where you can search by career name or take an aptitude test, 2) a magazine or newspaper article, 3) a journal, and 4) a reputable website that includes research and not just opinion.
Find all sources through ASU libraries: go to library page, sign in with your asurite ID, do the research. If you’re not signed, you won’t have access to the good stuff.
ALL SOURCES SHOULD BE 2016 OR NEWER AND SHOULD FEATURE USA INFO UNLESS YOU PLAN TO WORK IN ANOTHER COUNTRY.
Don’t worry about what info I want to see–I have no agenda here except to get you to exercise research, citation, and presentation skills. (Thus earning your L designation.) USE ANY INFO THAT YOU FIND INTERESTING IN ANY OF YOUR SOURCES. THIS ASSIGNMENT IS FOR YOUR BENEFIT.
2. For each source, construct an annotated bibliography (Links to an external site.).
Start each annotation with a reference citation at the top. Please use APA, MLA, or Chicago style. Most sources from ASU libraries will cite the source for you with a click. (See Purdue OWL for additional citation help.)
Annotations for each source should consist of three paragraphs:
1. a paragraph about what this source covers (the scope),
2. an evaluation of the source (like a movie review–what’s good or helpful, what’s not good or not helpful, and what might be missing from that source) 3. a sentence or two saying who would benefit from this resource.

3. At the end of each annotation (the paragraphs), include 10 exact quotations from the source with quotation marks. Use an in-text citation (Links to an external site.) at the end of each quotation.
I uploaded some links I have. You need to add a couple more related to forensic science/ forensic science tech.
